POD 3 (Stretches)

Use belt or sturdy strap if needed

Standing Triceps Stretch

  • Grab arm either in front of elbow or behind the elbow
  • Hold stretch for 15-20 seconds
  • Breathe

 

Sitting Trap/Neck Stretch

  • With hand on head, apply pressure as you take head to one side
  • Hold stretch for 15-20 seconds
  • Breathe

 

Lying Single Knee to Chest

  • Keep back flat on the ground (Don’t arch)
  • Hold stretch for 15-20 seconds
  • Breathe

 

Piriformis Stretch

  • Either in the standing or seated position, make the number 4 with your legs.
    • Apply some pressure above the knee
  • Hold stretch for 15-20 seconds
  • Breathe

 

Hamstring Stretch

 

  • Keep back flat on the ground (Don’t arch back)
  • Hold stretch for 15-20 seconds
