Sally Welsh-Chapela


Sally is a Florida State certified E.M.T. (Emergency Medical Technician).  She has 45 years of YMCA and American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Training and is also a certified swimming instructor.  Additionally, she holds a USWF water exercise Master level. Sally is experienced in the specialized fields of Cross County Training for Seniors, Physical Therapy focused on knee and hip replacements, back injuries and strength for the total body. She is also a certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, and is an oxygen training coach.  Sally is also a group instructor for Water Aerobics, Stretch and Tone, Tap and Step Aerobics, Pilates, Golf Fitness, Core and Back Strengthening and Yoga for inflexible people. Throughout her career, Sally took top honors in triathlons, power lifting, and bodybuilding competitions.  After moving to Florida Sally was involved in an automobile accident which changed her focus to help herself heal and recover for multiple injuries which included rotator cuff surgery and total knee replacement. These life experiences have led her to having great compassion for those with injuries and health issues who need extra help and understanding. Sally’s motto is “Just keep moving!”
